In this album, logs continue to explore song form. This time they reassembled the album by Dmitri Kourliandski and Anastasia Rodionova "Gorod Gde" (City Where in Russian), released in 2018 by FancyMusic."
One day Dmitri Kourliandski approached us and ask to make a remix of the "Gorod Gde" album, make the form of it more towards club music, and in general make it fit into the world of commercial music, whatever it means.
With every audition, every preliminary idea, and the image of what we want to have as a result, our hope of earning millions from streaming and future product placement gradually disappeared.
The very idea of the remix has turned into the idea of discovering a space where something is no longer itself, but leaves traces and hints of its past life, surrounding itself with the new matter.
It was interesting for us to move along the borders, leaving familiar signs and symbols in a moving, changeable flow of information.
As far as it is possible to transfer focus from the form of an object to its other properties while creating a new image.
How deep one can dive without losing apparent clarity, but questioning its necessity.
Often leaving the vocal material unchanged, we concentrated on working with the form through spontaneous decisions. The field of free improvisation has shifted from the creation of instant events that determine the development of music to the general composition. The minimalistic, clear lines of the musical material of the "Gorod Gde" album were completely absorbed by the thick, multi-layered texture that is characteristic of us."

В этом альбоме logs продолжают исследовать песенную форму. В этот раз они разобрали на части и собрали заново альбом Дмитрия Курляндского на стихи Анастасии Родионовой «Город где», вышедшего в 2018 году на FancyMusic.
«Однажды Дмитрий Курляндский предложил нам сделать ремикс альбома „Город где“, более танцевальный и пригодный к существованию в море коммерческой музыки, что бы это ни значило.
С каждым прослушиванием, каждой предварительной идеей и образом того, что мы хотим в результате услышать, наша надежда заработать миллионы со стриминга и будущем продакт плейсменте стремительно падала.
Сама идея ремикса превратилась в идею обнаружения пространства, где что-то уже не является собой, но оставляет следы и намеки на свою прошлую жизнь, окружая себя иной материей.
Нам было интересно перемещаться вдоль границ, оставляя знакомые знаки и символы в движущемся изменчивом потоке информации.
Насколько можно перевести фокус с формы объекта на другие его свойства, создавая новое изображение.
Насколько глубоко, можно погрузиться, не теряя кажущейся ясности, но ставя её необходимость под вопрос.
Часто оставляя материал вокала неизменным, мы концентрировались на работе с формой с помощью спонтанных решений. Область свободной импровизации переместилась от создания мгновенных событий, определяющих развитие музыки, к формообразованию. Минималистичные, ясные линии музыкального материала альбома „Город где“ были полностью абсорбированы густой, многослойной фактурой, свойственной нам.»
