Born in São Paulo (but with slavic roots) and based in Helsinki, Fernando Visockis is a man with many interests: music composition [electronic and acoustic], audiovisual installations, digital media and sound art is just a few among women, smoking, meat and intolerance to extreme Brazilian heat.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Composition [with emphasis in electroacoustic music] from UNESP and has some quick academic past, but now devotes his time to developing audiovisual projects all over the World, Master of Arts programme in New Media from Aalto University and releasing interesting music under his own name. He is also a founder/participant of the partnership named "PirarucuDuo", the experimental music group "Basavizi" and also known as FVM aka mochka.
His works were displayed in Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Finland, South Korea, Hong Kong, United Kingdom among others. He also keeps busy as a music producer, composer of soundtracks, as a sound designer and sound editor for web, tv and movies and as an audiovisual designer for multimedia and interactive environments.
